We live the organic concept and decided on organic farming long before it was talked about. As pioneers of organic farming we value true sustainability. For us that means: we respect the well-being of people and animals, short journeys and tasty food, that our guests can enjoy guilt free.
Because we want to leave our children an environment worth living in, we are fully committed to sustainability. The unspoilt countryside surrounding our house should remain that way in the future. We live our philosophy every day: the way we behave sets a good example for our children. In the family hotel Replerhof you can learn to respect nature.
We minimize our electricity consumption in the hotel and purchase only certified green electricity from renewable and CO2 neutral energy sources.
We rely on the renewable resource wood to heat our hotel. The pleasant warmth comes from wood chips and biomass. Our state of the art heating system was renewed in 2020.
We pay particular attention to distance – as well as the produce from our own farm – food from local producers. Our meat is 100% Austrian.
We try to use locally made building materials, the majority made by local craftsmen.
Following a survey of water consumption in the hotel, we were able to significantly reduce our consumption by using water saving shower heads.
Our waste-management concept allows us to monitor the amount of waste and keep it as small as possible- waste is also strictly separated.
